Administrative Specialist/WIC Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring the front office in Loup City is running efficiently and effectively; provide administrative support including typing, making copies, entering data, attend meetings as needed, and working with staff; and working with the public professionally being the first point of contact whether in person or on the phone transferring them to the given programs. This position will also travel to WIC clinics to help support the WIC program.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
  2. Responsible for phone systems, copiers, and ordering supplies
  3. Assist the Executive Director with recruitment, correspondence, and relations with the Board
  4. Ensure mail is picked up and delivered by the designated time(s)
  5. Attend Board meetings and take minutes
  6. Perform WIC intake duties, meeting with clients to determine eligibility
  7. Assist with loading/unloading of clinic supplies while complying with state and federal guidelines
  8. Adhere to all CNCAP policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. A high school diploma or GED required, prefer AA or BA in Business Administration
  2. Valid driver's license
  3. Office experience working with computers, staff, and the ability to handle multiple tasks

SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday: 8am - 5pm and Friday: 8am - 12pm

REPORTS TO: HR Director

JOB STATUS: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

PAY: TBD
