Central Nebraska Community Action Partnership is looking for a motivated energetic person to fill a rewarding position working with our Children. Individuals would be responsible for the care and education of young children, 6 weeks to 3 years of age. The I/T Teacher plans and implements developmentally appropriate learning experiences in the Early Head Start Center. Candidates would coordinate the classroom including daily activities with kids, paperwork and parent communication. The I/T Teacher is also required to promote a positive, happy and nurturing learning environment including children with disabilities and dual language learners. Candidates must be able to demonstrate effective communication and a non-judgmental attitude when working with staff, families and children. This position is full time year round. Prefer someone with the ability to speak Spanish and English but not required.

Qualified individuals must have a minimum of a child development (CDA), Associates Degree in Early Childhood, OR would have a Bachelor or Advanced Degree in Early Childhood with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or Early Childhood Unified or Inclusive Education. Candidates must be able to provide CPR and First Aid Certificate or obtain CPR and First Aid certificate within 90 days of hire and maintain current certification throughout employment. Prior experience working with young children is preferred. This position is Monday-Friday with a flexible schedule.
