POSITION SUMMARY: Assist the site in ensuring a quality program and environment exists for children and families by ensuring all performance standards are met in the area of meal preparation, cleaning, and maintenance.  Assist in the classroom as directed by the supervisor. Provide transportation for Early Childhood Programs (ECP) ensuring safe transportation and performance standards are met.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Prepare or assist with meal preparation according to schedules.
  2. Recruit, train and maintain bus monitors along with center staff as needed.
  3. Must maintain the applicable license, testing, and training.
  4. Obtain and document In-kind
  5. Ensure requested cleaning and maintenance is completed according to standards.
  6. Recruit ECP volunteers
  7. Promote school readiness for children, families, and community members
  8. Participate in all required meetings and trainings
  9. Adhere to all CNCAP policies and procedures

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High school diploma or GED required (Prefer AA or BA in Early Childhood or related field) 
  2. Valid driver's license
  3. Previous experience working with children ages 3-5 years old

  1. Problem-solving skills
  2. Communication skills
  3. knowledge in word, excel, powerpoint, and databases
  4. Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  5. Demonstrated ability to work with others

 

SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday: 7am - 5pm or Monday-Friday: 8am - 4pm

REPORTS TO: Teacher Center/Specialist

JOB STATUS: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

PAY: $11.22/Hour; $11.72/hour w/CDL
