Maintenance Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:  Maintain agency facilities and vehicles to ensure a safe, well working environment for staff, children and families.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Complete work orders as assigned 
  2. Maintain underground sprinkler systems
  3. Ensure minor repairs on agency facilities are completed satisfactory 
  4. Remove snow from Loup City buildings
  5. Responsible for spraying weeds, trimming, and mowing 
  6. Assist in set up for staff/board meetings when needed
  7. Promote the programs and agency in a positive and professional manner
  8. Adhere to all CNCAP policies and procedures

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High school diploma or GED required (AA or BA in construction management preferred)
  2. Valid driver's license
  3. 3+ years of experience in construction/renovation/maintenance
  4. Experience using power tools, skid loader, fork lift, etc.
  5. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

  5. Demonstrated ability to work with others

 

SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday: 7am - 5pm or Monday-Friday: 8am - 4pm

REPORTS TO: HR Director

JOB STATUS: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

PAY: $14-$16/Hour (Depending on qualifications)
